how about Foolish>Scarlet? or Foolish>?

The beginning never really struck me, but the jam at the end of foolish had alot of room for traveling.

Flame on, I'm sure, but seeing Furthur last year in Utica, that ending jam was fantastic and the interplay between Phil and John was great.

And to add to the Foolish >> ?? part of the thread, they actually took Foolish into Reuben and Cherise with a resounding opening three chords. It was definitely the musical highlight of a good show. Just a perfect bloom out of where Foolish was leading.

In a previous thread I thought Foolish could have been the next terrapin. That comment was met with mixed reaction but I would have loved it placed more right before drums. Playin>Foolish or Estimated>Foolish with a jam after it (see MSG 1990)

Then again the Oakland 1990 version that ends the first set is a real rocker. maybe it's one of those tunes that never had a true set place in the show.
